Have you recently realized that your overflowing clothes closet, ever-expanding shoe collection, or funky vintage costume jewelry medley has just become too large? Pack up last year’s finds and head to one of the best Concord, CA flea markets, the WestWind Solano Swap Meet, to turn your used goods into serious cash.
Held every Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 3 on the grounds of the WestWind Drive-in, the swap meet attracts more than 500 vendors selling both new and used goods. If you want to set up a booth, get to the market early to make sure that you secure a good spot. Vendors are charged a small fee based upon how many vehicle spaces they take up. Previous sellers report that small goods and clothing sell quickly, often within the first couple hours.
With so many wonderful deals around, you may just be tempted to spend the money you made right there. Designer wallets and purses are available at a fraction of their retail price. You will also find great antiques and naturally distressed furniture for a bargain.
